What has shipped in Klarvane Record and the Desktop Helper, newest first, and what is being built next. Installed copies update on their own; the download page always has the current builds.

No dates on purpose. Things move up this list when people ask for them — write to support.
- Annotate while recording. Hold a key and hover an element to draw a highlight box or an arrow on it, or spotlight it and dim the rest. Recorded as events, like zooms, and editable on the same timeline afterwards.
- Mic and system audio together. Today you get one track, and the mic wins when both are on. Two tracks, mixed into the export.
- Vertical export for Shorts and Reels. A 9:16 cut that follows the zoom, so a landscape recording becomes a phone-sized clip without re-recording.
- Click ripple and keystroke display. A ripple where you click and the keys you press shown on screen, for tutorials where the viewer needs to see the input, not only the result.
- Desktop Helper for Intel Macs. The helper is Apple silicon only today. A universal build is planned.

Klarvane Record 1.1.1
Talks to the renamed Desktop Helper by its new name, and still finds an older helper that has not updated yet. No visible change; existing installs update on their own.

Desktop Helper 1.1.0 — now called Klarvane Record Helper
The helper app, binary and download files carry the new name. Updating no longer triggers macOS's "downloaded from the internet" prompt. Fresh Windows installs go to a Klarvane folder. Existing installs update themselves.

Delete your account yourself
A Delete account section on the dashboard removes everything tied to your account. An active Pro subscription is cancelled on the way out; the page says what you would forfeit before you confirm.

A new home: klarvane.com/record
The product is now Klarvane Record, from Klarvane. The old getdemolens.com addresses redirect, and sign-in, dashboard and downloads all moved with it.

Demo reel and a compatibility table on the download page
A recording made with the product itself on the home page, and a table that says which Chrome, which OS and which helper build fit together.

Pro: choose how far a triple-click zooms
A zoom-level slider from 1.2× to 2.5× for Pro. Free stays at 1.4×.

Triple-click detection fixed with the helper running
Clicks inside Chrome were being counted twice when the Desktop Helper was installed, so a double-click could zoom. One helper per recording, every click counted once, and a real triple-click.

Recording survives machines without a hardware encoder
Falls back to a software H.264 encoder where there is no hardware one, and Stop can no longer hang while the encoder flushes.

Desktop Helper 1.0.1 and 1.0.2
Windows: double-clicking the download installs it, no console window, no missing-runtime error. Linux: installs from a terminal as documented.

Zoom keeps working after Chrome restarts the extension
Chrome suspends extensions in the background; a recording started after that could lose its first clicks or its click tracking. Both paths now recover.

1.0.0 — first release
Under the product's original name. Triple-click auto-zoom while recording, mic or system audio, a built-in editor with trim and cuts, MP4, WebM and GIF export.
